Re: What about Schools?

Thomas Edison didn't have proof that he could create an electric lightbulb, yet with the evidence he had researched, he proved he could. Evidence of god is all in the mind, faith and feelings, evidence of evolution is everywhere and unlike religion, can actually be researched. 50 years ago somebody says 'maybe not right now, but humans WILL fly to the moon!' there is no proof, but there is evidence that it is possible. through extensive Science and research, we now have a better society because of our trip to the moon.

See the difference between Science and religion when it comes to society? Religious beliefs cannot be proven, and there is no solid evidence for it, but through belief people typically become more positive and better people. Science relies on multiple theories, many of which cannot be proven in a day, or will be proven wrong in a century when we come up with new theories, but the point is, science also makes everybodies lives better.

The thing is, seeing as how all of our scientific theories help humanity to better ourselves, and there is a good mix of proof along with multiple scientific theories, it is what should be taught in public schools. The research helps us be better.
