I can answer that question for you easily. The apostles were all fictional characters and never existed.

Ask yourself this question. If some guy today walked up to your door and asked you to follow him becasue he is the son of god what would you do?

I highly doubt you would follow him.

My point is that if someone with the mentality of Jesus existed nowadays he'd be put into a mental institution. So since it happened 2000 years ago, before the discovery of mental disordes, lots of poeple are going to follow it? Sorry. I can't buy that.

And Mary was a slut, with a great lie. That's also funny that people would believe her considering if someone said that now they would also be considered insane. Too bad they didn't have paternity tests back then to discover who Jesus' father really was. Probably the town loony, considering the way Jesus turned out. Just my POV.
