Nope. Everyone has an epistomological base, whether they study or understand it. How do you know God exists? Experience (I was born again, He healed me, I met Him, etc) faith, General Revelation (the physical world), special revelation (the Bible), etc. etc.
The second issue is authority. What do you accept as ultimate authority upon which you base your knowledge, the scientific methog, revelation, intuition, experience, etc. etc.
Big subjects, hard to discuss on a bulletin board, hard even face to face.
