Hmmm... (Note: Opinion Follows!)

It does feel like a submission to me, and not really a belief, but submission doesn't completely describe it. I see a "belief" in God as "I chose to not know God", followed by a subsequent "I believe in God". Seems to me like you decided to stop choosing not to know God, rather than to try to believe harder in God or something.

Sounds good to me!
