I wasn't saying the bach flowers are homeopathic in the same way but I assumed that they contain no physical part of the original plant....though they can be made in the same way as herbs are through being boiled in water. They can also be made by placing them in a bowl of water and made to sit in the sun for a while. They do seem to be more dilute than herbs but obviously not in the way that homeopathic remedies are.
Yes I agree that placebo and psychology are both highly complex but the fact that it is poorly understood means that you can't say for sure that a response is purely placebo. It tends to be offered as an explanation when there are no current sophisticated enough scientific explanations.
