Hi #38976, the problem with AA's coexistence with other groups/strategies is that so much of AA is based on propaganda and ideology. As you said, for some, this is effective enough and desireable enough. But when a group's ideology makes them blind to change, then sterility and ineffectiveness are the results. If AA is to help alcoholics, then it must be able to adapt. 20th century assumptions and attitudes might need to be revised to fit 21st century realities. AA needs to address these issues if it wants to be taken seriously.

In the meantime, people shouldn't feel like AA is THE only way to deal with this terrible "disease". So far, CureZone seems to have many more options to offer us....
