while i'm sure you're over your problem by now, your homepage has been hijacked. this happens when a hijacking program gets loaded onto your computer from various (nefarious!) sites on the internet.

there is a free un-hijacking program that worked beautifully for us. it is called HIJACK THIS and is available from http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html so nice that someone creates programs that help, like this.... for free.
