Orgone Drama

not quite sure that what ohfor07 is saying is exactly true. as near as i can tell this is what happened.

don croft bought one of welz' latest models a few years back. being the curious sort he took it apart to what the heck he paid all that money for. well, guess what he found? the core o-generator was pretty simple - a resin matrix with pieces of metal suspended in it. croft said "hey i could build something like this for much cheaper." so he did. croft began marketing these on the net, he chronicled his orgone adventures on http://www.educate-yourself.org welz saw this and flipped out. he immediately took action to register the terms orgone generator. he also posted some inflammatory things about don croft on his (welz') site without actually mentioning crofts name. you can still read that stuff.

the main difference between what croft sells and what welz sells is that welz' machines are much more highly engineered and they have a power source attached which works with the o-accumulator. this supposedly transforms the o-accumulator into an o-generator. (remember - reich NEVER even considered you could generate orgone, he ALWAYS assumed you had to accumulate it. either that or release it from within certain substances) you could do somehting similar that welz does by attaching some 9 volts to your croft style o-accumulator.

bascially welz is still irate that someone took apart his machine (that he charges an ungodly amount of money for, i would be interested to hear how much you paid) and copied his design.

in a way i see his point, he was the innovator here. and yet to charge that much money for somehting so easy to make and that could (maybe? i am still on the bubble about this type of 0-generator myself, both welz' and croft's versions) help people and the planet so much. i don't really know, and sicne there is no way to scientifically measure o, there is no way a law suit will ever settle this.

anyway this is what i have deduced from reading websites etc. it may not all be exasctly the way it is but i think its close. and as none of the major players are talking this may be the closest thing to the truth we will have for now. although if anyone has more info, or other info, i would certianly be interested in hearing it.
