> I have used Dr. Clark's recipe both times. I won't lie to you---the Epsom Salt drink is horrible. I find it easier to do down with pink grapefruit juice. Just remember the results you get will outweigh the horrible taste!! I can't wait to do another one.
FWIW - the epsom/water simply tastes a bit bitter (refrigeration REALLY helps!!); I "cheated" and added a TITCH (a teeny splash) of V-8 Citrus Medly "Splash" to the olive oil/lemon juice, and I *strongly* recommend blending the heck out of it in a blender; using a blender suspends the oil particles in the mixture, making it a LOT more palatable than trying to gulp down fresh juice sitting underneath an oil slick!! Would also recommend, if you don't have them on hand, having "Tucks" or other Witch Hazel medicated pads to soothe irritated rectal tissues the next morning. It's not agonizing, by any means, but the Tucks will help ease the soreness from the rather "effective" action of the Epsom followed by the oil. I didn't have the stomach to try the 1-pint olive oil versions, frankly. Oh, also, I had NO nausea or stomach upset whatsoever; don't know if that's from blending the oil/juice, or just luck. So far, so good - ASSUMING that the "green pea" thingies are actually stones - and NOT just what the body does with an excess of olive oil - then this is working, SO FAR. When I have an ultrasound in a month, after two more "cleanses," I'll know whether this is "real" or not - my gb is the size of a bloated golfball *now,* so if these stones are really leaving the gb, it *should* reduce dramatically in size. We'll see!! (Look, here's my attitude - the WORST thing that can happen is that you have diarrhea for a morning, right? Compared to 10 grand in surgery, what's to lose? The ingredients are cheap enough!!).
Lastly - find a day to do this when you can REST the next day. I didn't feel sick at ALL, but I was a little tired...pooped, so to say. :-)
