Hang in there if you can, I am sure you will be glad you did. I am no expert, but it seems logical to me that if your physical self is cleansing and putting itself back in order, then why not your emotional self also? What if you were to embrace these feelings of sadness and anxiety, experience them for what they are, and look upon them as part of your emotional detox.? I believe that they are temporary, and when you are able to release them, you will find yourself in an even better emotional place than you were when you started. I have seen people at my hot yoga classes burst into tears half way through the class, and be astonished at having such a strong reaction. I believe it is all part of the cleansing process, and needs to be released just the same as all the other toxins. Good Luck!
