Re:kidneys and hair loss
> I have recently read that kidneys (according to accupuncture) are related to hair loss. The past few years my hair has become extremely dry and brittle (with alot of split ends) and is falling out. This is not hereditary. My question is, does this sound familiar to you in terms of unhealthy kidneys?
Kitty,
Poor health of any organ can be related to hair loss.
Usually, poor health of liver, kidneys, intestines, heart, adrenal glands, thyroid gland ... other glands ... teeth, may affect hair growth and skin.
Lack or loss of tin, magnesum and other minerals may affect hair growth.
For more details look at hair loss on this web site (diseases).
