I don't follow a recipe per se, but here is a starting point. Sometimes I just put in things I have available.
1 CUP COCONUT FLAKES
2 TBLS WATER (OR JUICE)
1 EGG (OPTIONAL, I NEVER USE)
1 TBLS AGAVE OR MAPLE SYRUP
CACAO OR COCOA (CHOCOLATE NIBS) (OR RAW CAROB POWDER)
SOAKED DATES OR RAISINS
LITTLE COCONUT OIL
BLEND IN VITA-MIXER, ROLL IN SHREDDED COCONUT, DEHYDRATE OVER NIGHT. TURN OVER IN MORNING AND DEHYDRATE HOWEVER CRISP YOU LIKE THEM.
I OFTEN OMIT SOME INGREDIENTS LIKE SYRUP, IF YOU DON'T LIKE TOO SWEET
