Ideally we should eliminate after every meal! I have NEVER achieved that pie in the sky, but who knows? If I keep at it I am well aware miracles do happen!
I am happy if I have a good BM once, or maybe twice a day. I certainly know myself well enough by now to have a pretty good idea if I am not fully eliminating, and can eat fruits/vegs for a day or two to set things right, increase fiber intake, more water, that sort of thing...
I plan to try the wonderful Paavo Airola's suggestion this year, fasting one day out of each week, three a month and ten days twice a year. Since you need to eat clean a day before and break a day or two after those shorties, that should really help keep me on the straight and narrow!
It's enough of a trick getting the trash OUT... but the real work is to keep from putting it back IN!!
