A relative got relief when he stopped drinking a very large amount of milk and little water.
How is your balance of microorganisms in your digestive tract. A story comes to mind.
A few years ago a woman was active in our detox support group because she was looking for leads for her young adult son who was suffering from schizophrenia, etc. She was kicking up heavy metals with detox supplements and medication but only taking tiny amounts of vitamin C. She said she feared the oxalates formed from vitamin C. We went back and forth for some time with her--and her husband who is most likely an MD-- on this subject, especially the risks of kicking up HMs without adequate antioxidant protection.
She finally got an Organic Acids (OAT) test for him. It reported a marker for high oxalates but another for low vitamin C. Interestingly it also reported a marker for an undesirable microbe in his digestive tract that is associated with high oxalates! She then concluded that the "gut bug" was more likely responsible for the oxalates than the vitamin C.
She and her son got some health gains on Cutler Protocol detox. Since then for several years she's been sending me holiday ecards.
