Re: 21 of 21 and done!
I purchased the cayenne from a store called the Nutritian Center. It specifically said how hot the stuff was. Do not buy it if it does not say it. These were gelgaps that I opened up an dumped into a larger container. The spice rack stuff is a lot less hot. I remember reading somwhere that they are between 15,000 and 30,000 heat units. Not enough for an effective cleanse.
As far as you other questions go, each persons body will react differently to the same cleanse. The hands falling asleep sounds like it could be a circulation issue. The hot cayenne may help this as it does a lot to regulate the blood.
As you know, the cleanse is not primarily geared toward weight loss. However, it is an added benefit. When first starting the cleanse, the body may shift up and down in terms of weight. This is partly due to the increase in water, the lack of solid food, and the body dumping left over food. I believe that more drastic weight loss occurs after the 10 day mark. That is where I lost most of mine. But keep in mind that the weight loss is only temporarily. As soon as the food intake begins again, the weight will come back. It can be minimized by eating properly.
Be sure to drink half your body weight in
ounces of water daily. This will help keep things moving as well.
