It's call personal choice.

I believe a prophet or a false prophet has the right to have an opinion, whether I believe they heard from God or not. My personal choice is to choose whether I want to listen to any of them, consider them crazy and walk away, or to investigate them to see if any illegal activity is going on.

Where is gets more complicated is when they are people of authority over us, that we must pay closer attention to them because we may lose our own right to personal choice, or the right to walk away...and even sometimes lose the right to investigate them if we see anything going on that is illegal.

Same with women's rights. I don't have to be in solidarity with any group to choose what is right. I don't have to be in any group to have compassion for a person. I can use my God given wisdom to investigate whether a woman has been abused or is lying.

As a woman of Texas, many of us like our men a little edgy. Do we pay the price for promoting our men to be like that?...sometimes. But one thing I can say, that your country can not...is the feeling of being protected by the majority of our men. Which is my personal choice. :)
