Re: Pressure / Lump feeling in throat and upper chest when taking Iodine and Selenium supplements.
Hiya,
Answer a few questions so we get the bigger picture..
Have you had a successful
parasite cleanse? (At least a three-month cycle of cleansing, hopefully with seeing
parasites in the toiletbowl)
Are you taking the other iodine/selenium cofactors? ( list here
https://stopthethyroidmadness.com/2013/12/29/companion-nutrients-the-key-to-iodine-protocol/)
Do you take salt flushes when you get the swollen throat feeling and anxiety? Does it calm the anxiousness, or are you still feeling wonky after two glasses of saltwater and having a good pee? ( recipie at

Lastly, look here:

Selenium requires sulfur to do it's job. It lowers sulfur levels in the body when you take it above food-normal levels for quite a while.
Sulfur gives a sensation of calm and chill. It's my go-to when I have trouble sleeping (I use epsom salt, and less commonly, thiamine (vitamin B1), MSM (methylsulfurmethane) and biotin). If you're not taking a b-complex vitamin beside the selenium, you're probably way on the 'too much right now' side of the teeter-totter with selenium.
If you're home, try roasting a whole bulb of garlic in olive oil and eat it all (squish the garlic out of the bulb-paper) and eat it all on toast with butter and oregano. Very good reloading technique for sulfur levels. :) (recipie
