Re: Constant Belching

Hi, just wanted to respond because I recently watched a mystery diagnosis and the story was about a man that had constant belching that almost cost him everything! He couldn't do his job as a plumber because people would become insulted by his belching. He went the whole medical route with no luck until they finally committed him to mental ward! The poor guy was not crazy, but agreed to see a psychiatrist so they would let him out. The psychiatrist ended up telling him about anxiety sometimes manifesting in very strange ways and believed that was what was occurring in his case. He was prescribed anxiety medication and the belching ceased! I'm not saying go to a psychiatrist or anything, but maybe investigate natural ways of reducing anxiety and see if that helps anything. Just wanted to put it out there. This poor man was adamant that anxiety was not his issue, other than being CAUSED by the belching. I understand what he meant, and maybe the medicine eased something else going on neurologically or something, but was just compelled to respond.
