Re: There is a Cure for Type 1 Diabetes
Suggestion:
As a vegetarian for 12 years, I am aware of what constitutes vegetarian in most people's minds: no meat, lots of wheat and dairy products, fruits, vegtables, etc.
The grains and the dairy are going to impede the bodies cure. Go vegan, go raw organic and watch how fast the need for insulin decreases, watch how the blood sugars stabilize. The biggest problem you will have is that the darn insulin will be taking your daughter's blood
Sugar too low and you will need to eat fruits to raise the blood sugar. If you go completely raw vegan, I predict you will need to cut the insulin by 50-80% almost immeadiately.
The trick is stopping the insulin completely and I have yet to be able to do this. Going 100 % raw is also a challenge. There seems to be some sort of addiction to cooked foods. Raw foodists write extensively about this phenomenon. I have problems being all raw. After a day of all raw, I crave cooked foods. The longest I can go is a couple of days and then I eat something cooked. Very difficult.
Best wishes,
Brock
