Try Vectical (calcitriol) Ointment. I have a 3 mcg/g tube. It is a prescription topical ointment and the best thing I have ever used to help my exfoliative cheilitis. You can ask a dermatologist for samples of it if they are available. I use it in the morning after I brush my teeth. I pat my lip dry after brushing using a clean tissue and then apply the Vectical and also put in on again at night before bed. I try to buy a chlorine free tissue paper to pat my lips but any clean tissue would be good I suppose. I only put the Vectical on the area of my lips that have the exfoliative cheilitis, not on the normal areas. It is manufactured by Galderma Laboratories, L.P., Fort Worth, Texas, 76177 USA.
