Re: Gut dysbiosis/Candida overgrowth stool test analysis help
You are lucky to have some nice leads to work with. So many people are left struggling with mostly normal test results and a similar list of symptoms.
What changes in lifestyle, diet, supplements, meds have you tried?
Have you tried support for stomach acid--apple cider vinegar with meal and or betaine HCl?
Have you also tried a digestive enzyme containing support for lipase?
Do you take a multivitamin containing zinc, iodine, selenium, etc?
Have you started on probiotics?
If you also have one mood related challenge, you'll have a convincing symptom list for heavy metal toxicity. That could be tendency towards anxiety, depression, intense, "difficult" mood. Guys seem to have the latter ones more than the former but there are certainly exceptions. For example, you might get annoyed in competitive situations, especially when someone is critical of you. In some cases, it is difficult for the individual to be aware of the struggle. Relatives or friends are more likely to provide the tip. Some who have been sick since childhood may just think they have an unusual personality. They were never healthy so don't know how it feels to be well.
I was "fortunate" that I got poisoned after being a healthy youth, so I knew that my adult-onset ADHD, "difficult" mood were not normal. I still needed some "encouragement" from loved ones to do something about it.
I chose Cutler's detox protocol. I wanted the safest effective method since I had a career that I liked, although I was struggling with some of those relationships.
I could go on for quite a while on this subject. I got sick around your age but it was not until around age 45 that I learned about the toxicity! It messed up my life and career and although my health is quite normal now, I'm still struggling to repair my career and relationships. If HMs are indeed a factor in your symptoms, you are fortunate to have an opportunity for a fairly normal life. That assumes you don't mess yourself up by kicking up HMs irresponsibly like this member.
