Re: Skin, parasites, worms, demodex, face, tentacles, moxidectin
Thanks again - I got it on being careful not to inject - I AM interested in Moxidectin as I believe I (and my hitchhikers) have built resistance to Ivermectin.
You have likely seen the NIH study on Moxidectin versus Ivermectin in humans:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5527648/
Will at some point soon go with one oral dose at 200 micrograms/kg weight plus topical application daily for now (repeating oral dose in 3 weeks to catch adult hatchings and try and break cycle).
The cysts/ova are clearly round and well protected so no surprise this can just go on and on - I was lulled into sense of success last year but noticed slight lumpy areas in skin where outbreaks occured - after almost two months of no lesions, and stopping all meds for 6 weeks, they came back.
I had used a mix of diff meds but overlooked the Moxidectin use at beginning (got ill taking foo frequent of doses as it stores in your system unlike Ivermectin). Had a couple of beers a few days after second dose in one week resulting in 24 hours of throwing up - I took moxi off the list.
Again, studies indicate effects on cysts and so far the immediate benefits I am having show promise - I didn't dose Moxi topically last night, instead applying Mupricin ointment prescribed by doctor, and woke up to find the usual overnight growth of
parasites - so back to having Moxi on areas 24/7 until well past healing (hopefully).
If it fails then will go with Ivermectin or Moxi injectible into cyst.
will post results
