Properly balancing DHEA and other adrenal cortex (steroid) hormones can be wonderful--for those who need it! Taking more of them can be awful for those who don't need them. That is one reason why professional sports ban them for their athletes.
However, if you are middle aged like me and have fatigue, belly fat, low sex drive, are not as strong as you should be, etc, then hormone balancing can be a nice puzzle piece.
Of course there could be other factors involved, for example, heavy metal toxicity fouling up enzymes needed to convert one hormone to another. Low vitamin C or zinc or something else needed by adrenals.
Also are you consuming enough cholesterol containing foods at breakfast and at Lunch? These hormones are made from cholesterol.
