6.84 million doses of iodine

lets see here, its been many years now that i started taking iodine. in the last five years i have religiously taken 750mg of KI by mouth every morning. five years times 365 days(for simplicity) is 1825 days. multiply that by 750mg and you get 1368.75 grams. since only about 3/4 of that is actually Iodine lets multiply by .75 and get 1026.5625 grams of pure iodine.

that means that over the past five years i have taken the equivalent of 6.84 million doses of the puny FDA RDA of 150 micrograms.
