Re: Is Lugol's Iodine Safe For Oral Consumption? Keep hearing conflicting views, who is right?

Japanese people eat a larger amount of fish and seaweed products which Iodine can be naturally found.

A deficiency should be first identified before people take it upon themselves to begin an unsupervised or unguided Iodineprotocol especially when megadosing is involved.

The periodical table has many elements and the human physiology requires trace amounts and a large variety. Each person is an individual organism and no single protocol is going to work the same for each person. Therefore, it is reckless to encourage people to undertake this without being fully informed and guided by a practitioner. The results of misuse of Iodinesupplementation can be dramatic and, in rare events, catastrophic.

I agree finally a voice of reason.
