Hi jnams0630,
I had a Jaydess (commercial name of Skyla IUD in Europe) inserted almost a year ago (January 2017). Three days ago I had my yearly blood test done too and discovered that cholesterol, triglycerides and ALT levels have sensibly risen since last analysis (not over the top, but very close to "alert level"). I have NEVER had this kind of problems (my blood levels were always lacking in iron because of heavy periods - which is the reason I got the IUD in the first place - but they were always perfect when it came to lipid levels) and I haven't changed my dietary habits and physical activity in the last months. So I'm suspecting the IUD might be the cause. If anyone of you has gone through the same issues and had any improvement after removal...
