Since you are in Jamaica you should be able to get fresh squeezed sugar cane juice which is also recommended on the MC and it tastes terrific and a really nice treat and change of pace on the MC. I bet your Jamaican cook will know where to get it.
You would use The SCJ in lieu of the water and syrup so you would make your drinks by mixing 9 oz of SCJ with 1oz of the lemon or lime juice + 1/10 tsp cayenne. I personally prefer limes with the SCJ.
