eczema is caused by allergies/intolerances

In my experience eczema is def caused by allergies/intolerances. I’ve dealt with it in my kids, have seen it in many other kids, and most recently my dad. His was so bad it ended up diagnosed as prp which is basically a fancy name for itch peeling eczema from head to toe. There are many versions of Elimination Diets , but most take too long to figure it the culprit. The fastes way to figure it out, if you are really motivated to get rid of the problem, is this: eliminate EVERY SINGLE food you eat on a regular basis. Instead of thinking what you can’t eat, do it the other way: pick one food from each category that you don’t normally eat, and ONLY eat those foods for 4-6 weeks until all symptoms are gone. Then you reintroduce ONLy one food a week, to see what you react to. For example, if you normally eat beef, pork and chicken, pick turkey, if you normally eat rice, pick quinoa, pick an oil such as avocado if you don’t normally eat that, pick a vinegar, if you don’t eat apples often, pick apple cider vinegar, pick a veggie, like Napa cabbage that can be made into salads and stir fried, pick a fruit like plums, and salt and that’s it. Don’t eat anything else for 4-6 weeks. You will probably see huge improvement in the first few days, the itching will go away and the rash with start to slowly clear up. It’s important to wait until it’s completely gone though, so you can easily tell when you reintroduce the offending food
