Re: Long Water Fast to stop alcoholism

First, it is a good choice to fast for re-setting your lifestyle. However, after you start refeeding you will need willpower to not go back to drinking and eating junk foods. How long in between two fasts are you refeeding? Ideally you should have at least same number of days as your fast to refeed and then fast again. I like 1.5 X number of days of my fast.

Fasting rules are very simple...
1. Drink warm water as per thirst, filtered hopefully.
2. Rest and not do any form of exercises.
3. Keep you body warm.

Taking drugs during a fast is very enervating. You will harm your liver. Nothing should go in your mouth but water, no toothpaste, no chewing gum, etc.

Fasting with water comes with its symptoms, reflux, sleeplessness, aches and pains, but they are all corrections happening g in your body and mind.

Also with so much alcohol and junk food consumption you really should do colon, kidney and liver cleanse. Since you ha e started fasting you should continue, but after you refeed for two weeks, consider doing the cleanses.

Eat raw plant based diet and you will be much better going forward.

Good wishes,

Archus
