Re: Weight loss

Raw can be tough unless you're really on that path. For six months after my long fast last year I ate

Fresh fruit with natural yogurt (no sugar, good culture)--I like to whiz as a smoothie

Salad for lunch

Homemade vegetarian vegetable soup for dinner--same soup we break with, but after digestion is well established you can add brown rice, beans of any kind etc.

After the break I add small amounts of clean protein like chicken breast/fresh fish, whole grains, beans, seeds and nuts, and of course good oil like ex virg olive/flax

A big key to keeping the weight off is portion--eat light! We really don't need as much food as, for example, we are served at most restaurants!

Another biggie is exercise! Exercise and eat light and clean and you can and will keep the weight off--I did, plus continued to lose slowly but surely, and felt wonderful!!

Best to all,
Somer
