Sadly we have a world full of morons. Don't over exhaust yourself now. It is time to look for better options. It is not the end of the world. I am glad you have posted here, where we all are going through same situations. Adoption isn't that easy. If you are serious for adoption then adopt a baby from foster homes legally. Just by the way you can look for other infertility treatments such as IVF, Surrogacy. And moreover, you are more connected to child through these procedures. I have both of my children through surrogacy because I was not able to conceive either. They are living a normal healthy life. So give it a try. cheer up.
