Re: All Israel Will Be Saved

"God keeps His promises He makes, we all know that."

Yes, God does keep his promises. But his promises, other than those he has already fulfilled, were made to the children of the promise (those in Christ by faith) not to all the physical descendants of Israel.

And that's again why Paul says in Romans 9:

6 But it is not as though the word of God has failed.

That's apparently what many were thinking, God has made all these promises to physical Israel and he's not keeping those promises! Is God a liar? No, Paul says, God's word has not failed because All Israel is not the descendants of physical Israel, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.

Romans 9:
8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants.

I'm being redundant in these latest posts I'm sure but these are important things to understand. Think about this: for all those still waiting for God to fulfill all these promises to the physical nation of Israel, will they again wonder if he's a liar when he doesn't do that?

So for that reason, and so many others, it is important to get to the truth of these things.
