Re: "Hate Speech"

Tansybelle, I'm familiar with what's going on in Britain, and it's terrible.  Once the "hate speech" thing began, that opened the door for the refugee flood.  Some of these people were bona fide refugees that were in terror of being killed.  Others were.....well......not so sincere.  And, because of the "hate speech" nonsense, nobody was allowed to call someone to the mat about their behaviors.  Some of these people were raping women and beating men to "teach them their places." 

When thoughts become censored, we are in trouble as a planet.  Sometimes, things aren't pleasant.  Life, itself, is harsh, challenging, and frought with real-life dangers.  So, the desire to create a Utopian environment has always been a wish for mankind.  But, enlightened and wise people realize that a Utopia cannot exist.  The Universe is perfect, even in its violence as stars collide, planets are pummeled by their moons, and black holes suck in galactic matter and repurpose it to create new stars, new planets, and new solar systems.

So........it is my hope that the pendulum begins to swing towards a balance.  Sadly, with the advances in technology, the pendulum is going to swing fast, and far.  With our ever-increasing technological advances, humanity has not matured along with it.
