Good job. There isn't any strict rule for breaking fast after a short fast. Salad was a good choice.

I will tell you that hunger happens on any given day during your fast, you just have to stick it out. I drink warm water, which helps a lot. You know it is not true hunger because it is your stomach habituated with food coming in every few hours. True hunger happens after your body is clean and/ or your reserves are gone, usually after thirty days or so. Some healthy people may feel true hunger earlier than that.

No supplements should be taken during a fast, it is called partial eating, which is worse, it keeps your digestive system working instead of resting.

How much weight did you lose? If you want to lose weight you really need to look at your diet. No processed foods, no sugar, no grains, no milk products and walking 20 minutes everyday will get you to your ideal weight, any where between 170 and 180 lbs.

Keep this thought in your mind, it took you a long time to gain all that weight, it will take longer to get rid of it. You can fast intermittently. Fasting is a great tool to clean your body and mind, but usually we go to our old way of eating and put on the weight back.

Next thing you can do is to clean your kidneys, colon and liver then fast.

You did a good job for first time fasting.

Good wishes.
