Re: How do you get rid of Klebsiella and metabolic problems?
I occasionally eat turmeric. I've used basically all the spices you've mentioned in recipes in the past. A prominent author on gut microbiology says infections are heterogenous and each one requires a certain ingredient or "key" to overcome that would do better than another. I should try that java turmeric shown in your linked studies, though I can't seem to get it locally and one I found online has maltodextrin. I'm on a strict diet (meat and vegetables basically) as I have a vast amount of
food allergies . I'll certainly try garlic cooked. My metabolic problems I presume stem from the klebsiella overgrowth. Carbs fill me up more than fats and certain foods fill me up more but not by much. I've heard of using
Iodine as you've mentioned. I'm currently taking Vitamin D, a probiotic,
Iodine and uva ursi. I'm aiming for a ketogenic diet (at least for a little while here) to see if that'll shift anything. I don't think I have a
Tapeworm as that was tested for and I've had two previous doctor ordered tests for bacteria (don't remember which specifically) turning up nothing and a Doctor's Data for
parasites and a general microbiology analysis.
