The light clumps are EXCRETIONS from internal parasites, more in the insect/arthropod category.
Not all ecto parasites are really that ecto.
A previous poster found out, they contain around 30% glucose.

The black strings attached, are a FUNGUS of this type: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capnodiales

..and this fungus could be also the culprit in the 'Morgellons fibers'.
