taking a look at genisis chapter 6, boy do people love a good fairy tale.  lets break it down and set it firmly on the earth.

there are 2 different ways that hybridization can be done.  the male of one species and the female of another, or the oposite - vice versa.

with adam and eve it happened that the neandertal male bred with the adamic female.  remember that eve was basically a female clone of adam.  she was probably a lot like him in stature.

adam was more gracile while mr satan there was more robust.  he was also shorter, sturdier,  and with a much higher cranium capacity.  this clever monkey gave us agriculture, cities and metalurgy.  he was intellectually no slouch.

but funny things happen in the world of hybrids.  people are generally aware that horses and donkeys make mules but the mules are sterile.  this mix of neandertalis and sapien appears to be more closely akin to what we see in the big cats.

in this comparison the neandertal is represented by the tiger and adam, appropriately being the line of judah, is the lion.  when the neandertal bred with eve the offspring was similar in size or perhaps even a bit diminuative of the parents.  this would be a tigon.

few people stop to wonder about cain after he had killed his brother able.  we see that god is no respecter of persons and that cain has the same opportunities as anyone else.

⁵ but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. ⁶ And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? ⁷ If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him

i believe the book of job proves god true to his word, that neandertal was as much gods children as the homo sapiens.  but back to cain:

⁸ And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. ⁹ And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? ¹⁰ And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. ¹¹ And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; ¹² when thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth. ¹³ And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. ¹⁴ Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me. ¹⁵ And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

so cain was worried about being killed when anyone would find him.  who would that be?  well, its the neandertals, of course.  and the mark that god must have put on him must have been something that made him more acceptable to or look more like neandertals than a hybrid.  you know how people are.  anyone thats different they like to capture and enslave and murder for fun and profit.

now we turn to the sons of god, the adamic line.  they see the neandertal women and think they are well, you know whatablte.  and they do.

and this time, you dont get tigons.  you get ligers - the biggest cats known to man.  they bred giants by doing this.  and once they figured this out, probably on purpose.  everyone knows that size really does matter.  its a helluva advantage.

and thus the legends and the violence grew.  there are plenty of books speculationg about this.   but there is no way these were angels or any other spirit beings.  and they werent aliens.  they men screwing females for advantage in the world.  same as it ever was.
