Re: Mirena the cause for hormonal imbalance?

I am a 32 yr old wife & mother of 3. My husband thinks ive gone Over the Coo Coo Nest when i explain my symptoms. However, I know what im feeling is 100% FACT! I have had the Mirena for 4 yrs in April. After i had my last child. Terrible head aches, mood swings, very little patents<~~(SOOO NOT ME)Cry baby(<~~seriously) My own hubby has told me that I have changed. But has very little understanding of how the IUD works. How it affects hormone levels. I sometimes wake in night sweats, flip 0 to 100 FAAAAAST smh.I explained to my OBGYN how i was feeling. She told me mood swings were temp. Perscribed me Depression pills. I NEVER TOOK EVEN 1 PILL. Instead i have been saving my money to have this burden REMOVED! It will cost me $270 they DONT JUST REMOVE IT. I live in SOUTH CAROLINA, so to the young lady in TEXAS ~~~>>I THINK THEIR ALL IN IT TOGETHER! Just tryna MAKE SOME MONEY NO MATTER THE EFFECTS. I ALSO HEARD THIS MIRENA COULD CAUSE CANCER.
