Re: Mirena the cause for hormonal imbalance?

I live near Dallas,TX. Before I had the Mirena IUD put in I called my pcp to tell them about something else I need a prescription for and I told the nurse in that office I was getting the Mirena IUD put in and she totally freaked me out saying that was so old fashioned and couldn't beleive I was doing that.

I told my gyno what she said before he put in the IUD and he said oh she is just ignorant about Mirena and that I would not have any problems at all. Like I said earlier he sounded like a dang commercial for Mirena...do they get something from the pharmecuetical companies? Am I just that dense?

YEt when I called my gyno yesterday to talk to the nurse she was not surprised at all that I wanted this stupid thing out...I mean that stupid thing...like I mentioned in an earlier post I got mine out today!!!!

Does anyone know anything about Loestrin24Fe birth control pills? They gave me 3 samples packs to try. Said for me ck back in a few months let them know how I'm doing with these. Tweet
