Don't let anyone tell you that ec can't be cured. That's just bullshit. Ive had ec for over 6 years it was just as bad as Daniel Miller's with the thick yellow crust and inflammation. I've already seen my lips heal with my own eyes. Your case doesn't doesn't look nearly as bad as mine were.

Also, why is everyone avoiding water? I know water turns the skin white but really? Why does it matter? The skin is already dead. It's not like water is gonna kill it further. You can use water to your advantage by easily removing the dead skin when it's white and soft. Leaving your lips alone won't cure ec. Don't even bother.

In my experience, the lips need a barrier that not only protects but moisturizes the skin. If you got ec from biting your lips like I did then the problem is external and can only be treated from the outside.
