Do I even have exfoliative cheilitis?

I recently viewed daniel millers updates, pictures and stuff when he had exfoliative cheilitis, mine doesn't look anything like that. (maybe i have mild version of this?)

So I have this weird cycle with my lips, I wake up, go to shower, my lips get WHITE and then peel immediately, there is nothing i can do about it, then the lips look red, like raw flesh red? Not sure... but they feel and look raw. Then I apply lip balm or chapstick and this same happens in the next morning, please someone tell me what is this and how to fix it? it really makes me uncomfortable and also my lips get white during the day if they get contact with water...

EDIT: And also, I tried to leave them alone for 1 week I believe, I avoided water and peeling as much as I could but It didn't seem to get any better Tweet
