Re: What is this?!?!
Boric Acid & Water Recipe.
I have used your recipe of the 1/4tsp of boric acid and 1/4 cup of warm distilled water and have added to the combo with great success. I am now using this as nose drops and it is wonderful stuff.
Thank you for sharing.
Here is the recipe I created.
Boric Acid Nose Drops - recipe
1/4 teaspoon boric acid
1/4 cup of distilled water, heated
*mix the two ingredients and cool a little bit and pour into 2 ounce plastic bottle with dropper cap*
*then add the following into bottle and shake vigorously*
4 drops of Kelp iodine
4 drops of castor oil *pharmaceutical quality
8 drops of glycerine oil
I shake it vigorously before each use. I tilt my head back and drop 1-2 drops, blow my nose if its needed and then put 2 more drops into nose and allow it run down my throat. No bad after taste, no discomfort, no burning. So if you find that it burns you may have a sensitivity to it, so don't use it. Try tasting it to see if any tingling happens on the tongue or a skin test on the inner wrist. Make sure that the mixture has completely cooled before using it. I put mine in the freezer ice tray for 10 minutes so I could use it faster.
