Hi Loosie, I googled leg pain during fasting and found this site. The exact same thing happened to me. The 3rd day of my 7 day Water Fast the pain in my legs, mostly upper thighs was so intense I couldn't sleep. I started taking 400 mg of magnesium but that didn't help, then I tried Sea Salt in warm water and it got a little better, but each day the pain became worse. Day 5 of the fast the pain was so bad I took 1 99mg of potassium and the pain went away almost immediately. In the future when I'm on a Water Fast I will plan on taking potassium. Hope this helps.
