Re: 55 day water fast 75lb loss - help sought

I was in a world of pain mentally spiritually physically ..a total mess prior to starting to this fast. Lost my way.

Weight loss was not my primary intention I did not keep a tally or weigh in at
all during the 55 days. Only prior and after, I was 130kg prior, dropped to 97.5 kgs.

In the past (2014 and 2015) I have completed 21 days and 30 days of water fasting. Back then 75kg. All 3 fasts have been so so very different. All with new learnings.

When I began, I prayed for God's grace to carry me though this journey, to grant me a miracle/breakthrough help me resolve several grievances.

The first couple of days I cleared the clutter from my home. I emptied every drawer, cupboard etc got rid of rubbish from the past and excess, clothes books, furniture, kids toys etc ended up donating loads, about half a garage to local charity shop.

I then reviewed various corners of my life and made changes, set new goals.

Some outcomes:

A lot calmer - a lot more peaceful
Clearer thinking, skin and eyes cleared
No bloating, Numbness has disappeared in arms and side of body
Regained sight of my passions in life
Recaptured a few dreams
More present
Day 1 -30 higher energy levels

Challenges:

Fasting cleanses your senses have had to prepare food for two children daily
the smell of food while fasting - horrendous
Mucous coming up in my throat from day 30 I started out drinking tap (chilled in fridge) then
moved to buying bottled water naturally filtered from a spring.
Day 30-55 low energy levels, moments of vertigo. couple of times felt like I could of dropped dead
Kidney pain
Dry throat at night/morning
Stomach pain (i guess that's from eating itself?) Tweet
