Cottonmouth, can you explain in detail how you apply it?

My current regimen is using aquaphor twice a day. When I wake up, I remove the previous nights aquaphor with a baby wipe, and apply a new, thick coat that can last till before bed. Can you explain the gloves in a bottle way?
