I had a biofilm test done previously which was negative, all though it wasn't necessarily checking for Candida. A colonic specialist once told me I may need more digestive enzymes, so I believe you're right about stomach acid.

I keep getting repeated streptococcus throat infections too, so I definitely want to check the levels of bacteria in my gut and for parasites, as I became unwell after travelling.

However I'm finding it hard to find a reliable, cost efficient lab in the UK which accepts self-referrals.
