They only test for s. stercoralis and it will only show positive if your infection stage is not yet chronic. If you have another type, or more than one, and maybe more than a few years, you will likely get a negative result and they will send you away. Even with a positive test they would give you 2 pills and send you home. This is the standard story, dont expect more from a doctor, wherever in the world. A hospital parasitologist told me once that even if i had parasites, ie s. stercoralis, i would only need to take 2 standard doses of ivermectin for about 2 weeks and that is it. For Ascaris they give you a few albendazole pills. According to the WHO 1 in every 4 people have worm/ parasites but the stool tests average positive is only 1%. Do you see the lie here?
