It needs to target the stomach because that is where the biofilm is and it is a bacterial biofilm and not candida. Candida are compatible with gram negative bacteria and can share biofilms with them. Therefore if you want to beat candida, you need to defeat a bacteria first of all.

Using antifungals only destroys the planktonic ie free floating candida and not the ones seeding from within the biofilm. That is why so many people spend years making little to no progress. Tweet
