Re: Help on Iodine, from the Netherlands!
Think of this as a lot of bromine symptoms stirred up. Scroll down on this page to see a comprehensive list:

I think you should take Iodoral every day, and try to find a source for potassium iodide. You could then make your own
SSKI for further supplementation.
Vitamin C should be every day, 3000-6000 mg if you can manage it. At least 1000 mg daily.
Selenium 250 ug daily is fine.
Take niacin every day. I tolerate the inositol hexaniacinate form better, which is also found in ATP Cofactors. ATP Cofactors includes both B2 and B3. If you can find it, take a whole one each day.
Use salt regularly -- try 1/4 tsp (1 mL) per liter of water. Drink at least 2 liters of water per day.
The idea is to use
Iodine and the chloride in salt to displace bromine. It can be a long process but well worth it in terms of clearing your mind and helping your thyroid function tip-top.
Regarding TSH rising, this is usually associated with an increase in your sodium-iodide symporters, which help transport
Iodine to the cells. Also, there is this from Paraboy in 2013 --
"Dr. David Brownstein recommends testing Free T3 and Free T4 along with evaluating clinical symptoms when seeing increasing TSH numbers in
Iodine supplementation. TSH can be elevated to levels of 75 for up to 6 months with no clinical symptoms. The thyroid gland is doing its job. TSH rises to increase thyroglobulin which binds to the increased iodine in the blood stream to create thyroid hormones T4 and T3. (Conventional doctors will literally scream about this TSH rise but Dr. Brownstein found that it is normal when using iodine.)"
