HOW TO break my fast! help me go shopping!
HALF way Today!--- Day 15 of my 30 day fast!
- BMI 15 (45kg and look like a walking corps! I am 5'5'' with large bones and skull so I look very cartoon-like!)
- constant numb fingertips are such a novelty!
- No desire at all for food and it makes me nausiated to think about it - I have cooked a few courses for 13 people with no desire to eat. Shut off.
- I sleep in uggboots and a ski jacket - very stylish, indeed.
- permanent appendage is a hot water bottle. current outside temp is averaging a sunny 25 degrees celcius and I am sporting turtle-neck sweaters.
- Obviously the usual tiredness, dopey demeanour - but still able to slowly stroll for 1-2KM a day cross-country, which is lovely
- Reading and making sense of intangible/abstract/philosophical ideas- which are normally are pleasure -is testing lol.
- sensitive and slightly sooky in terms of noise and temp.
I am in much better shape after 15 days (this time around) then I was in my last fast after say, 5 or 7 of a 10 day fast. I think the main difference is clearly spirituality and just remembering God much more. This is all only possible with His will.
My dear loved ones have just discoved the reality that it will indeed take another 2 whole weeks at least after my fast is broken for me to eat any sort of meal-type-thing. My partner has infomed me that lots of people loost their lives re-feeding. Dear Lord!
I am preparing a shopping list for them to get me over the two weeks and I was wanting advice, help, suggestions!
What juices should I have diluted for the first few days? I am very cautious to not spike my blood sugar and hurt my fragile liver...
What should I have following that? I have some broths in storage prepared but not sure when to add them?
My list is as follows so far (all certified organic! thank God)...
- Juvi and mature coconut
- Red apples
- cucumber
- banana
- tomato
- watermellon
- pawpaw (papaya in USA)
- Pineapple
- avocado
- sweet potato
- maybe oranges for juicing
- Organic dried fruits (apricots, dates, goji)
- carrots
- greens
- Wide variety of nuts (walnut, almonds, macadamia, brazil...)
- seeds (pepita, sunflower...)
- Tahina
- coconut oil
- organic grass fed butter
- Not sure what else???? (and bone broth, organic eggs too)
My supplements to take after I have re-fed for two weeks are:
All these supplements make me feel sick to the stomach just thinking about it... but if they are going to all work together nicely to shrink my cyst then I will give it a go. My partner believes its out of place and it should all be solved via REAL FOOD... I would like for that to be the case... but so far it hasnt reall worked for me despite my good diet.
Please advice of suggestions or ammendments and if someone could advise a nice little order that I could have these in... like for eg... day 1 - diluted juvi coconut water... Day 2 juvi flesh... or something like that
